Insta-Friday

Another week peeps! Filled with its ups and downs......but mainly ups.

I got to spend time with my 18 year-old niece last weekend. It's always so much fun to catch-up and see how adulthood is slowly creeping in. She was such a great help as I had a rather full plate. The girls LOVE her!

Saturday began with a heavy heart full of Grace, love, and hope.

But ended sweetly with my hubby taking the girls (not baby) to our annual Daddy-Daughter Ball.

And afterwards we got to go to our neighbors annual Mardi Gras party with lots of home made gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee, hurricanes, and king cake. You really should be jealous because it was soooo tasty!

Our silly dog (Marley) got groomed and looked like a perfect little lamb.

No more achievements in potty training this week but she still is intrigued by the whole thing.

Sunday I had to take my niece home which was a great excuse to stop by grandma's. We played cards while the girls took advantage of her open pantry policy and watched movies.

The big girls were nice enough to share their diseases with baby sis. Would you believe this little monster has BOTH strep and RSV? Apparently she did not get that memo because they have barely cramped her style.

Wednesday I sent my girls to school in shorts (and sweatshirts.....it's still February!) with temps in the 60's.

That night we encountered our first dust storm on our way home from dance. And the next morning when we woke up we were greeted with nearly a foot of snow and a 90 minute delay start for school.

Cuddling in bed instead of the usual morning rush didn't stink!

Well that's pretty much all the happenings of last week. My favorite shot of the week is some quality sister time at our home away from home!

Hope you all had a fabulous week! Check out other Insta-Fridays at:
